We check before we quote
Every price follows a visit. Nobody can tell you what a floor costs without seeing what is under it, and a number given over the phone is a number that changes later.
We do not subcontract the finish
The finish coats are the whole job. They are laid by our own applicators, which is why we book a limited number of visits a week rather than taking everything.
We will talk you out of it
If your substrate is wrong, or tile is genuinely the better answer for the room, we will say so on the visit. It costs you nothing and it saves us both a failed floor.
