Bathrooms and showers
Walls, floor and the shower tray as one piece. Over a sound waterproof layer.
Seamless microcement, United Arab Emirates
We lay microcement straight over your existing floors, walls and worktops. Two to three millimetres thin, seamless, and ready to live on in about a week.
Start here
No breaking, no skip in the car park, no week of dust. We prime your existing floor, build the coats up by hand and seal it. Your doors and skirtings usually stay exactly where they are.
One continuous surface from wall to wall, and up the wall if you want it there. Nothing to catch dirt, nothing to re-grout, and a small room reads as a much bigger one.
Two coats of sealer close the surface, so it takes water, shoes and cleaning. In a shower it sits over a proper waterproof layer — we check for that on the visit before we quote.
Where it goes
The same material, room after room. Every finish here is microcement, laid over whatever was there before.
Walls, floor and the shower tray as one piece. Over a sound waterproof layer.
Seamless behind the hob, and no grout line under the sink to go dark.
Warm underfoot with underfloor heating, and quiet compared with tile.
Treads, risers and the wall alongside, finished in one continuous run.
A whole wall in one tone. This is where the colour does the most work.
Made in place, so the top and the splashback meet without a seam.
Covered outdoor areas, in a finish specified for the sun.
Hard-wearing, and it can be laid overnight in phases while you trade.
How it works
01
We come to you, look at what is under your feet, measure up and bring samples in the twelve colours. You get a price the same day.
02
Loose tiles are fixed, movement joints are respected, and the surface is ground so the primer has something to key into. This is the part that decides whether a floor lasts.
03
Mesh and primer, then two coats laid by hand — the second in base, medium or fine depending on the finish you want. The trowel marks are the finish, so no two floors are identical.
04
Two coats of sealer, in the sheen you chose, then we hand it back with the care instructions. Light foot traffic the next day, water after a week.
Where we work
If we are not in your emirate yet, leave your number on the booking page and you will be the first call when we are.
Before you book
In most homes, yes. Tiles need to be stuck down and the floor needs to be stable; anything drummy gets fixed first. That check is exactly what the free visit is for, and it is the one thing we will not guess at over the phone.
The finished surface is sealed, so it handles splashes, mopping and a wet bathroom floor. Inside a shower the microcement sits on top of a proper waterproof membrane. If there is no membrane under your tray, we will tell you before you commit.
Microcement is a coating, so it follows what is underneath. A stable floor stays sound. Movement joints in the substrate are carried through the finish rather than covered over, and the base coats are reinforced with fibre mesh.
A typical apartment floor is three to four working days on site. You can walk on it the day after the last coat and use water after about a week.
It is priced per square metre and depends on the surface underneath, the area and the finish. From AED 000 per m2. You get the real number at the end of the free visit, in writing.
The twelve colours on this site are our standard deck and cover most homes. Custom tints are possible — bring the reference to the visit and we will tell you honestly how close we can get.
We bring the twelve samples to you, measure the space and price it while we are there.
